One of the classiest hotels in Wagga. Lovely modern furnishings, comfortable bed. Extremely clean room and shower. Offers room service and minibar. Luxurious touches eg nescafe dolce machine. Would stay again. Rooms as pictured. Nice and quiet with a huge TV
Very comfortable Beds; Light bulb out on wall mounted light fighting; cheap and tacky in room phone - earpiece sticky; restaurant very expensive and meals not that great - salad in the stew & roast; sauces drown the main meal; room service tray left all night outside door; no range of in room tea bags; in room fridge inconvenient under bench as it doesn't fit and slides away from you in the 'box' like structure and a hassle to try and open - not flush with bench top at all; lovely bathrooms; toilet seat moves about - hasn't been checked. Very poor quality management in terms of checking room amenities and light bulbs. Wipe phones down; air-conditioning / heating is woeful - the unit does not respond well to changes in heating temps - need checking; lamp totally missing from 'executive king' room desk area. Staff are generally warm and attentive - but get a little defensive when 'account' challenged re: additional charges that were a mistake. Luggage trolleys need to be wiped cleaned from all the fingerprints and palm prints on the 'brass' bars - need to be cleaned down each day and hard to manoeuvre due to wheels going in their own direction. It appears to be 'luxury' but it's tired and a little dated and quality management / supervision needs to improve.
Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was nice although toilet seat moved when sitting down. Block out curtains were great although the tv shines a bright light underneath it in your face. No bed side lamps and lighting isn’t great.Evacuation alarm at 7.45am getting us to race to get dressed then saying sorry disregard was annoying.
The worst thing was the buffet breakfast. At a discount rate of $20 a head, we arrived 50 mins before breakfast ended and the juices were nearly empty and so was the milk. Nothing had been replenished, hard bacon and dead mini sausages eggs were dried out. I asked the staff to replenish and after 20 mins they came out with a few little sausages and a bit of bacon. We ended up having a slice of toast and leaving. Very bad.
The room was great, clean and easy access from the car park.
We used it as a stop over during a long family road trip & were keen to utilise the room service dinner and breakfast…. It’s quicker and easier than delivery. However, This wasn’t available when we stayed.
Otherwise an easy stay but a lower price should be considered when there is no room service available.
