The Staff at this Hotel were so truly nice and did all they could to assist. That stated, we never could get the room temperature issues resolved... even after moving rooms twice. Thermostats are restricted to 74 and allegedly, there are motion sensors that restrict the unit from coming on without movement in the room. So, you come back to a raging hot room at the end of the day and try to cool it before bed and then it gets raging hot again when you sleep because the sensors don't detect enough movement. The only thing that saved this stay, were the super sweet Staff members that did their best to try to assist...

Very Nice stay in DC

Our stay had no complaints. The room was clean, made up daily and comfortable and roomy. Near NOMA Gaulluder metro and within walking distance to Union Station. Neighborhood is nice and safe with sufficient eateries nearby.

Disapointment

It was expensive for the location and they offera a $10 a day discount for meals and services but then would not give it due to the fact I booked the reservation thru Hotels.com. Even with my Hilton Honors credentials. Hiltons continues to slip down the drain in mu opinion.

Interesting Trip!

Although the wait was long to check in even though I did it through the Hilton as you can only do valet parking, the staff was kind and answered all my questions. I would recommend them hiring more people for the restaurant as I felt that there was only one server for dinner and one for breakfast which made orders and food take awhile to get. Food was good overall. It was a nice place to take my family for a vacation. Pool was good and it was nice to have a jacuzzi to relax.

Some issues.

We had previously asked the hotel for a connecting room but were obliged to wait until 4.30 pm until cleaning was complete. Once in the room, there were some maintenance issues that were never attended to : the hook had been pulled off the back of the bathroom door; the bath plug did not close; the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling; the safe was locked closed (and the maintenance man could not open it with his electronic device) and the end of one curtain had been pulled off the rail. These issues apart, the hotel was well-located and the valet parking worked well.

The property for the outside was nice… The room I stay in need upgrade it was dated… The pool was great and food at the hotel was delicious and pricy but there is a lot of food option right outside… The metro right around corner… I wouldn’t stay again until they update their room but it is a affordable option… I do recommend it if you don’t mind a dated room… it’s Family friendly… And the staff is very nice..

We had a great stay - the room was large and comfortable and the pool was a great thing to have in the hotel. Only downsides - breakfast at the hotel was very expensive (we ate off site), and the wait for the elevator was occasionally long. Friendly and helpful staff were also great.

My reservation was cancelled without prior notice. I was in the air when they emailed me and then of course when I landed I seen it and contacted them right away because the email said to contact with 24hrs and it had been 3 hrs from the email. When I called they stated they cancelled my reservation because they couldn't contact me. Never will I ever book a reservation there again.

Furniture was in rough shape with stains. Bottles water is 5 dollars a bottle. Over night parking is 55 a night which is rediculously high after paying for the room that looked better in pictures on the internet, than the one I slept in. Said free breakfast and that was false. Charges me 25 per person with four of us that was expensive especially when the food is of low taste and water down quality drinks. Very disappointed for the total amount paid and what we received.
