The property was absolutely filthy and the staff were extremely rude. We checked in and the only person attending the desk was a security guard watching a show on his phone and "too busy" to help us. Once we finally checked in we got to the elevators which were both dirty and falling apart. Once we finally got to our room, we opened it to be greated with an extremely disgusting room. Cobwebs in every corner, candy wrappers and garbage from previous guests, dirt and dust covered floors that appear to not have been vaccumed for weeks and a bath tub full of previous guests hair. On top of a dirty room all of the hours of ammenities like the pool were changed from the times posted on the website. If you want to use the pool or gym at this location you might as well assume it's just closed. To top it all off the staff were extremely rude. The valet was a nightmare and tried to double charge me, the front desk was full of people wo looked like they dreaded their jobs, were trying anything to not talk to guests and the overall mood was horrible. This hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed at. Stay far away from this one and go to a different location, this Hilton was disgusting, dreary and a completely terrible experience for an otherwise enjoyable vacation spot.

They were kind enough to hold the reservation when my flight got rescheduled to the next day. Good rooms, easy access to the trains, and having a Harris Teeter right next door was a super convenient option!

The property was very clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The one complaint I have, which I am not sure is even within their control is the valet parking situation. When I am paying $55 a night for valet parking, a fee I will gladly pay for the convenience, I don’t expect to have to circle the block for 20 minutes to get into their valet stand or wait for 30 minutes in the lobby for their valet driver to reappear. I will say the desk managers both on days and nights were apologetic and seemed to understand my frustration this did not give me the time back I wasted trying to utilize this service. One thing that truly confused me is why the security guard who sits inside the door all night scrolling on their cellphone is not occasionally going outside to keep the DoorDashers and neighborhood residents from parking in the valet stand is beyond me. While I felt very safe and comfortable in this property, the valet situation may have been inconvenient enough that I would consider staying elsewhere next time.

The room was in need of updating and the leather bench was quite dirty. The bartender and pool engineer were super friendly and helpful, but the front desk staff was average. Our kids were never offered cookies during our four day stay. Location was convenient, but felt a bit safe at night with people on the street asking for money.

Central location

Very convenient to Amtrak and metro. Enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, but the front of the hotel is a little sketchy. Breakfast is terrible.

Great location in MoMa

I liked my bedroom at this hotel as it was spacious & comfortable and the location was great but the public areas: lobby, pool, restaurant, bar etc. were shabby & depressing and I couldn't wait to get out of the building each day.. The lifts were also a bit dodgy and the phone & safe in my room didn't work.. The saving grace, however, was one of the Front Desk Managers - Herman who was charming & helpful and answered my many questions cheerfully..
