Check in process was wonderful. Upon Arrival there was some construction in the lobby which never became an issue. The first day I checked in early to a very nice room, it was clean and stylish. I was dissapointed by some of the things in the amenities that were not available. The laundry takes credit card only and the soap is down in the main entrance. The ice machine was out of order and the treadmills were all out of order, The staff was courteous. There was a third party management issue. The breakfast was nice but crowded.

When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk was exceptional. Once we got to the room I thought you would at least upgrade me to a suite being it is my birthday and I am a Bonvoy member but that did not happen. The rooms are outdated and the breakfast we HORRIBLE. So, we had to pay to eat elsewhere too many kids running in pool area and in the hall so I could really relax like we wanted to. As well the parking for 60.00/per day plus tax is absurd. I really had a great weekend in DC, but the overall experience at this hotel felt more like a motel and I am very disappointed you have to do better for the 375.00 we spent to stay for two nights here!

Staff support was insufficient, and I received inconsistent explanations about why an upgrade was not possible, even though the hotel appeared to be empty. In addition, rotten apples were served at breakfast. When I raised the concern, I was told that “just because it’s brown doesn’t mean it’s bad,” which was not an appropriate or reassuring response.

Loved this hotel. The breakfast buffet is great. The rooms are cleaned the beds are comfortable. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are an absolute plus and a for the price per night you can’t beat it. Just have to make sure you get the breakfast buffet by 9:30am. The staff working the dinning area and buffet are professional. They keep the area clean and answer all your questions. They also make sure the guests follow the rules as far as keeping up the cleanliness of the buffet areas. This is wonderful place to stay for families and is close the many of the sites, a short walk to many of the museums.
