Hotel Okura Niigata
Clean room but older property. Well located on river with great view. Excellent breakfast with great service. Staff were fantastic in all departments . Close to a Lawson a with microwave and drinks machine and ice on the floor

APA Hotel & Resort Niigata Ekimae Odori
Comfortable beds snd bedding with a plush comforter and our room had an ofuro japanese tub for soaking! It was a big hotel but easy to check in/out; I especially liked the express checkout. Close to train station and an easy walk to the river.

Semi-double is spacious, enough for my yoga mat and I could stretch my arms out. Water pressure good, hot (4th floor); walls a bit thin (woken up by next door’s snoring). Breakfast was overwhelming. Court Hotel Niigata
Central location, all amenities worked, very cheap price and just a small surcharge for breakfast. Very helpful front-desk young lady and a range of extras like iced drinks in the reception area, including ice cubes.
