"A good central location in the old town. Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Rooms were well designed. However, the hotel isn't as fancy as other 5 star resorts in the Funchal! Pool is much smaller than the pictures make it look."

"Well presented Hotel, with lovely Pool Gardens and Public areas. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location, short walk into Funchal. Only negative was that the room was sometimes noisy, as there was an inter-connecting door, so we could hear the people in the next room. Would recommend."
