Hotel is well-situated for visits to other places in addition to Oxford (Woodstock, Wallingford, riverside pubs, etc.). Hotel facilities are very good (fitness room, restaurant, etc.). Staff were efficient and friendly. All-round excellent hotel, but it was a bit early Nov 21) for 24/7 Christmas music!

My room was really cold all night. The maintenance man blamed me for “breaking the system” Rude staff working at breakfast service And the 10.99 buffet breakfast was awful, however they did refund this.

Stayed here for two nights with my family whilst visiting Oxford and the Cotswolds. Good location, room was comfortable enough although the sofa bed for two children (5 and 9) wasn’t the most spacious of beds. Friendly hotel staff.

The hotel entrancexwas welcoming and the staff were very polite. Going to my room on the 4th floor there was in the corridor an empty wine bottle, further down were 2 plates with half eaten food. These were there for a number of hours. My room was spotless apart from a couple of stains on the carpet. One of the bath towels had a huge hole in it.

I booked a kings room and they gave me a small twin room, Furniture in the room very deteriorated, carpet dirty. The breakfast was very limited and didn’t even have fruit. I will not stay there again considering the high price

Parking was good, plenty off room. Reception desk person very good and helpful, my only issue was one member off staff and waiting in a cue. Hotel was good and generally pretty clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. The main thing was the breakfast could and should be better- Quality not great, and freshly cooked. Most off the food had been sat in the dishes for far to long, and tinned mushrooms where terrible! Fresh mushroom are a must. Our room was nice and bed comfy and a nice welcome break.

Comfortable sleep.

Easy parking. Rooms looking a little tired but very comfortable bed and very quiet. TV didn’t stay on , kept flickering on & Off ( could have been the weather). Reception staff very polite and friendly. Breakfast was OK. The music blasting from the kitchen clashed with the ambient music playing throughout the hotel.
