Expensive for a single room, tiny desk, no room for your suitcase small television, tiny sink in the small bathroom, noisy traffic close to the busy road.You can spend less for a descent size room with many of the large chain of hotels. Plus was breakfast was included. Luckily i paid less than the standard price for this small single room. Location that’s what you pay for with this accommodation.

Really enjoyable overnight stay, with dinner

Pros: Lovely old building, nice quiet room, comfy beds.

Cons: Nothing

A friend and I stayed for a birthday treat. The Champagne was in the room at the time ordered, the room was clean and very well appointed, and the staff helpful and attentive. Dinner was lovely; great menu, service professional and unhurried, we were given a small, private dining room just off the restaurant area without asking, and their birthday plate, with dessert. Really couldn't fault this stay and would highly recommend the hotel. I have give a 4 rather than 5 for cleanliness simply because there were a few, small marks on the sofa in the room, and carpet.

To visit Waddesdon manor

Pros: Nearness to where we wished to visit. . Service

Cons: Access to upper rooms. Probably not possible in this old building

Location: Waddesdon Manor

Friendly staff. Comfortable room No 8 but up 35 stairs which for us was difficult Comfortable bed ,good shower . Lot of noise from very busy road outside Breakfast was very good . Freshly cooked and well presented
