Can't fault the staff who are fanastic and helpful. I had some issues with my room (faulty lighting and room cards not working). After making a complaint they upgraded me to an executive room. However, there is really no difference except for a bath. This hotel is in need of a renovation. I would say it's 4 stars. The gym equipment is ancient and limited. One treadmill was so wobbly it was unusable. The weights machine couldn't be adjusted either. The rooms are a littke musty and there is no minibar even in the exec rooms. The towels are also fairly dated. The pool is nice and the rooftop drinks area is decent albeit it needs some love too, it feels like zero thought has gone into furniture etc. Friends stayed at the other Movenpick in Bangkok and it is far fresher, newer and somehow cheaper with better facilities. It was like night and day.

This hotel location is first class, walking distance to 7/11 (30 feet), Central 21 shopping mall, BTS station and much much more. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only negative is you can't dine in until 11am once their buffet breakfast ends. Small inconvenience given alot of restaurants near the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

OK for the low price. This is budget five star wich does not give the highest luxury personalized service but it looks nice, are situated in a good area and have what you need. Beds are a bit hard and rooms feels a bit impersonal as often in this kind of ’budget luxuary’ hotels.
