I've stayed at this hotel a few times. The staff are always frendly and welcoming. This time around how ever I was very disappointed with to say the least. The traffic from the main road was unbearable but if I closed the windows it got to hot. Unbearable to sleep in, got a total of two hours. I would book again but if I'm offered room 17 again I would just walk away and avoid at all costs.

The Wheatsheaf was welcoming clean and well presented, staff were friendly and helpful, ale is well kept and the food good, the Wheatsheaf has a big well lit car park and is on route to Basingstoke, reccomended place to stay.
