We stayed in a kitchenette, expecting to find some kind of cooking utilities. Just a microwave and fridge however. Be warned, if you have mobility issues, access into and out of the shower will be troublesome.

The apartment was nice, clean convenient to the hotel for meals or have sent in. Didn't get the chance to use the spa. Little difficult for people with mobility/movement issues with using the shower, it is over the spa, this needs to be taken into account when booking. The bed was hard and uncomfortable for us. Could hear people on top floor walking and pulling out chairs, quite noisy. TV reception was terrible! Lounge suite could have been more comfortable. Had a garage but wasn't offered?? Position in city centre is great but guests need to be made aware of where entrance to motel is? Our stay could have been better.

The 3 bedroom apartment was a standalone 2 story town house . Massive and modern with a 2 car garage.Great value for the price.

Spa closed with a note about poor behavior of prior guests. Quite ridiculous to be made to pay for other mistakes Also using rooms service was hard work. Missed drink off order when delivered the staff were no help when I rang they didn’t know what I was talking about. Rooms not like what was advertised

The National motel was nice looking with modern bathroom and some updates to bedroom, but the bed was hard!! Checked out the mattress and it was one of those commercial mattresses with no comfort layer on it all. This made it very uncomfortable. We tried the pool and that wasn’t heated, but as it was a hot day, that was refreshing. However, the spa was closed and from reading the sign, had been out of action for a while. Would have been nice to be told of this when booking or even checking in as would have stayed elsewhere as we were looking forward to a relaxing spa. On check in, I was asked did I want some milk for a cuppa? Why wasn’t it already in the room? And a sign in the room saying that due to COVID, they no longer service rooms daily. Boy, if we were staying longer than the nigh, I would have wanted the room serviced for the price. But the worst was the TV which had constant pixelation and made it impossible to use. As it wasn’t a smart TV, that made it unusable. I honestly would have to look elsewhere to stay next time from this experience.

The staff were really lovely and friendly. The room was great. Getting up the stairs with two really heavy suitcases was a little difficult but we coped. Having the bistro right next door was super convenient. Also having access to a laundry was just brilliant as we had already been away from home for well over a week and really needed to do some washing. The gentleman behind the desk was really helpful, even changing some notes into coins so we could use the machines. Would stay again but if we had big suitcases we would ask for a downstairs unit now that we know that there are stairs.
