In urgent need of a updating if you don’t book With them direct it’s a £5 parking charge on arrival Staff was very friendly and welcoming sadly the rest of hotel was rather run down but for a quick unsuspected stop Off on a very long drive was ok could shower and get some sleep

Room basic but adequate. Bathroom very tatty particularly the bath which had a damaged rim. Paid extra for breakfast which was with the Good Breakfast company but this was not fresh with very dried sausages and egg and too few beans. Staff at the hotel were very polite and helpful.

The staff member at check is was lovely and this review does not reflect on them at all. Bed mattress was clearly old and springs not great, with a topper on it to try and disguise how poor it was. The chair in the room was broken. Mug leaked everywhere. Bed was also very noisy and broken. Black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. Tiles and edge around bath filthy. I know it’s a cheap place to stay, and we were only there for a quick stop over, but yuk!
