Great hotel in a wonderfully quiet and tranquil location. The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout my stay. The only minor downside was that the bathroom wasn’t completely spotless. Charming hotel and grounds, really friendly and accommodating staff, and exceptionally dog-friendly. The harness/lead sets in the room were both a surprise and a delight. We didn't get to try the spa this time, however other guests mentioned the spa(s) were really good too. Quite a bit of work being done in the grounds, but all looks like additional development/features, but in Feb, so not a problem at all. We'll definitely be back.
