Our first impression of the exterior of buildings was not great, but the interior of the main building and the annex was lovely and our family room was very spacious and comfortable. The sea views from the hotel were lovely and the location to Chine Gardens and the sea front excellent. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were fabulous and the children enjoyed using the soft play area.

The hotel has beautiful sea views, rooms are very comfortable and pleasant. The staff was friendly but did not provide the basic information on the facilities, dinner time, etc. On the evening we arrived, we planned to have dinner at the hotel but we were not informed the last order was 20:45 and we end up with the bar Menu.

Quiet location at bedtime, right near the beach for the daytime. We drove to various bars/restaurants in Bournemouth in the evening otherwise it’d be a bit of a trek. The indoor pool is a little on the small side. The outdoor heated pool is much larger. Both pools could’ve done with a little more cleaning which is why I stopped short of an overall great score. The only other reason I didn’t give a ‘great’ is because the bedroom got quite hot & stuffy and there was no aircon. Luckily we were there in mid April so a crack of the window helped. Overall a very pleasant period hotel. I was not disappointed at all.

Pleasant Hotel in good location

Pros: Location close to the beach. Plenty of nice places to relax with a book. Views were good.
Cons: Menus were a little uninspiring. Tapas menu was good.
Location: Plenty of activities available on the beach
Enjoyed a stay of three days . Hotel was pleasant, staff easy going. Gardens were nice. Food could have been better.
