Awful place. Stay away!
I booked for one of my workmen. He only told me towards the end of a week, how bad it was and showed me photos. I immediately changed plans for him and he did not stary the remainder of the booking.
Upon arrival the hotel asked for a deposit to cover breakages as they "had some problem guests previously". I refused to pay for this.
My workman showed me damage already in the room, broken taps hanging from the wall, broken mirror and also plasterboard patch on the ceiling.
we were also charged 4pound per day parking even though the sign in hotel says free for patrons

There was a problem with the bed in our room when we booked in. Spoke to reception who sent someone up to look. Another room was prepared for us and we moved. Staff lovely.
We didn't have breakfast so couldn't comment on that.

Air conditioning meant I could have room at perfect temperature, big comfortable clean room, parking also included which is a huge plus.
Rooms nice and clean. Staff very rude . No hot breakfast, as Chef did not turn up for work.
Went for dinner one night, and was told “ you’ll have to come back in an hour, as we have a party on, and we’re too busy! No apologies, or anything. Just told quite rudely.
Would not recommend this hotel. Completely ruined our weekend
Ceiling was leaking . Elevator not working.
Loud band at the event in their event room with no sound proofing of the bedrooms. Hard beds.
They did move us to a different room but didn’t make the beds up in that room.

Not one single member of staff at check-in alerted me to the fact that I needed to register my cars reg plate Im order to park at the hotel. I have ended up receiving two parking tickets because of this. There needs to be clear signage as you check-in, and staff ought to be told to ask “have you arrived in a vehicle? You will need to register the reg plate to avoid a ticket”. To this day, I have no clue how this is done? Is there a machine? Do you give your reg plate at check-in desk? Really poor.
One of the double beds was soaking wet because roof was leaking over bed rain was running down the walls, electric sockets didn’t work, 3 x staff did nothing, didnt have another room even though they weren’t full. so had to all squeeze on one bed as it was late. Expedia also tried to contact hotel no response aswell and refused refund even after showing video BOTH I WILL NOT USE AGAIN
