Convenient

Pros: Convenience
Cons: The food, the staff response time to unmet requests, an overhead light in my room, so I could see!
Location: Don't know, but it was easy to find off the motorway.
This hotel is easily accessible from the M5 and makes a good place to meet up with colleagues and friends. It's clean, the staff are pleasant and it's ok. There's plenty of parking.

Just off the motorway, so very convenient!

Pros: Easy to find, rooms a good size, clean and well equipped.
Location: It is near Dursley which is a quaint market town.
Excellent service, very comfortable and beautiful room, lovely food. Competitive price very good value

Good Hotel convenient to Bristol, and Cotwolds.

Pros: All good.
Cons: Not that I can think of.
Location: Slim bridge and Berkeley castle
Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a lovely breakfast. A bit of road noise from A38, if you are outside or have window open. Lots of theme nights.

Great hotel

Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: Keep it the same
Location: Plenty of great places to visit.
Great hotel plenty of places to visit within twenty miles Stroud,Gloucester,Bristol and a lot of oldye worldy pubs. It is our forth time so know the area quite well now.Really enjoyed my wife's 65th birthday here. Will be back again soon !!!!!

Good place to stay for visiting the Cotswolds

Pros: Big, comfortable room
Location: Lots of nice villages in the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean is well worth a visit.
The hotel is conveniently placed near the M5, making it a good base for exploring the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are signs the hotel is a little tired with the capers in the hallways a bit tatty in places. The breakfast was ok but don't leave it till the later sittings. The food was reasonably well cooked although some may feel a little underdone. The continental breakfast is not to be recommended as it was a small pastry, some pre-packed cheeses and some salami. We did not see any fruit on offer. We liked the fact the room had plenty of tea and coffee for two people and the bed was a super King even though advertised as king sized. The bed was comfortable. Although the hotel is next to the A38, traffic noise was not a problem. Overall very good.
