Lovely room which was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great, only a few hundred meters from the main square. Breakfast was excellent, my husband is coeliac and needs to follow a strict gluten free diet. He was given a form to fill in by 11pm each night to order bread, rolls, cereals, cake, cookies and pastries for the following day. These were brought to our table each morning in a lovely basket. He could also have all of the food from the hot and cold buffet except the pancakes. Normal breads and pastries were on a separate table minimising the risk of cross contamination so an excellent setup. Our only criticism was that we had a double room which was 2 singles joined together (not an issue) with a double sheet but two single duvets which was really odd and the mattresses were so hard we both had back ache by the morning. Plus the pillows were square so we’re not very wide, but I think that’s just a continental thing. We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again

We arrived about 13.30 but out room was ready and we were allowed to check in. We were shown to our room which was situated in the annex at the back of the hotel next to the garage!. We quickly dropped our bags and went into town not really looking at the room . We returned and noticed how stained the carpet was in the corners and at the side of the bed. We asked for a room change as we thought this was unacceptable for a boutique hotel and we were accommodated in another room in the main hotel which was of an acceptable standard. The first room we were offered should not be offered to guests until the carpet has been replaced . An explanation at the time the room was given to us should have been given or a significant discount this was not offered we had already settled the bill in full throuh Hotels .com

Excellent location, very close to the center of the old town and within easy walking distance of all the places of interest. The hotel itself is beautifully presented with old world charm and period features. The staff are warm and friendly and the breakfast selection is superb.

A gorgeous hotel, five minute from the central plaza and Belfort. Great staff; nice spa/sauna (didn’t seem to be used by many but I went daily); spotless rooms; excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again!

A great hotel in a great location , very clean and stylish with very helpful and pleasant staff . Although it was fully booked when we stayed it was quiet and relaxing and never appeared busy . On arrival the receptionist was extremely helpful using a map to guide us with places to eat and see etc. The only slight issue was , as we had a top floor room we couldn’t have a shower as the roof slope only allows for a bath with hand held shower attachment . My wife did enjoy relaxing in the bath however so it wasn’t a big problem. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices both hot and cold we really enjoyed starting our day in the breakfast room where again staff were always pleasant and helpful . Overall it was a great place to stay within a very short walk to the main square and sites and we’d definitely return here if visiting Bruges again.

Lovely public areas, spa is just a steam room, Sauna and deck chairs. Booked a luxury/deluxe room but very small, no where to put cases, No chair/ chairs as expected, old wooden wardrobe, window overlooking car Park. Disappointed. Had to pay extra for a larger room just for some space.
