The hotel was set in lovely grounds and the gym & pool facilities were very good. Breakfast was also good as were the staff. However the room let the property down, it was very dated and didn't look as clean as I would have expected. The price was good so I would actually consider staying there again but would hope that the rooms are upgraded very soon!

One Night Away

The bathroom was a bit dirty, some hairs in bath and on floor. Struggled to close window as curtain rail was fitted a bit low. Turned on hit tap in bath and a load of scum came out. Shower was electric type so low pressure. On the upside the receptionist was really chatty and really helpful. He booked us a taxi and chased it without us asking when it hadn't arrived on time. Sadly we didn't have time to use the pool as we had hangovers the next day nor did we use the restaurant. Sound proofing of room was non existant and somebody was hoovering at 9am outside room in the morning so a lie in was impossible. Only paid £38 so can't complain too much.

Diamond in the Rough

This hotel was excellent its close to Manchester and has the facilities of a high end biz hotel with the access to the Spa and Country club.

Getaway

Nice hotel good service a shame about the noise in room 2 doors away swearing and shouting from other residents having a domestic I was kept awake most of the night until the hotel manager dealt with the issue tea time meal was not very good

Great Weekend Break

Amazing value for money. A little gem in the heart of a residential area, that gives the feel of open country because of the setting. The room was much bigger than expected. The leisure centre was included in the price and had two swimming baths sauna and steam room, as well as fully equipped gym that was fully staffed Staff were helpful and friendly throughout the stay
