Nice period property with modern elements. I love the separated rows of rooms, it reminds me of a posh English variation or a stereotypical American motel. However, we couldn't get the Wifi to work (Maybe an android issue), And the radiators bubbled all through the night (They just need bleeding). Don't let any of this put you off. The place is lovely.

Situated in nice grounds in a good location. Wardrobe / walk in cupboard had a bad odour.

Nice location close to station and town centre

Needed to unexpectedly extend stay. Staff went out of way to book a new reservation

Beautiful gardens

Pros: The beautiful gardens and the way the hotel rooms felt very private.
Cons: The décor is a little dated in the reception area and could be updated but it is clean and pleasant.
Location: I went to a wedding at Hengrove Hall but didn't have a chance to do any other sightseeing.
I was given a garden room and couldn't have been happier. The hotel room was large, comfortable and clean and had a lovely patio outside where you could sit and admire the beautiful gardens. It felt more like staying at an apartment than a hotel room. All of the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. I added on a breakfast which gave a continental option plus a hot breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily go back if I was in the area.
