No outdoor space except a small cafe on the pedestrian paved area . We had to hang around for a few hours before check-in and as we had all our money, and valuables with us couldnt wander out . Concierge was surley and insisted he does not respond to earlier emails if we had sent them through Expedia. Once we did get our room it was super and we as we had a great dinner and breakfast with free bottle of wine via our Expedia booking it was good value for money.

The room was fabulous with its view of Table Mountain and the beautiful decor and excellent amenities throughout the hotel. Service and friendliness of the staff were superb and the location couldn’t have been better. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Cape Town.

The Taj never disappoints! The staff at this Capetown location is superb! Some of the nicest and most genuine people I have met in Africa. The location is perfect if you need to be in the center of town and the gym/sauna/pool are open 24/7.
