Excellent hotel sleep interrupted by a fire alarm

The location of the hotel is in a good neighbourhood within walkable distant to the town centre. The room renovation is modern and the studio room is very clean and comfortable. The full kitchen suit our way of travelling as we can cook our own dinner. A little downside about the room is that there is one chair with the dinning table. It makes us a little bit odd to enjoy our dinner in the room. It will be much better if second chair is there. There was a fire alarm that interrupted our sleep that made us evacuate at 2am. This is probably not the hotel's fault. The hotel's staff handled this well. The included breakfast is delicious and quality is good. Angel, which is one of the staff in the breakfast area, is a very friendly and proactive on providing services to the hotel guests. She offered assistance before we even asked for it. Thumbs up.

The suites as a whole were fantastic, very clean and the staff were very friendly and approachable :) We would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of is the parking, there is a limited number of spaces as the car park is on the smaller side. If you do find a space, I would recommend walking/using public transport to get to any other destinations in Cardiff after checking in, purely to avoid losing the space when you return :)

A great stay

Great location for us we walked to the bay for lunch and I to town in the eve. Rooms were clean modern and spacious with everything we needed. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We got there early to park and all spaces were taken by the eve. Breakfast was plentiful, hot, cold, pastry’s and fruits salad . Will stay again

Cardiff Weekend

Hotel is a little bit out of centre but close enough to walk into town. About 20 minutes walk along canal into city centre. 15 minutes to Dragon Centre with cinema, bowling and casino. Around 25 minutes to Mermaid Quay with bars and restaurants. Rooms are nice with the little kitchen area. Breakfast was included with good choice of food available. Would definitely stay again.

There are 3 different grades of room but just be careful your are getting the right one. We thought we were booking the 344sq ft but in actual fact we were registered for a smaller one. The lovely Bailey felt sorry for us and found us the perfect solution. Well done him!

Lovely room, good breakfast

Really lovely hotel. Great size room and well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was spotless and lovely shower with gorgeous toiletries. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of hot and cold options. Unfortunately the room was far too hot. The window didn't open and the Aircon was locked at a minimum 19°C but was really ineffective despite being on maximum setting the room temperature never fell below 22°C. This made it really uncomfortable to sleep. It's a real shame as we definitely would have returned and recommended to friends if it wasn't for this.

I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Cardiff for the weekend and had an excellent experience. The location is ideal — perfectly positioned between Cardiff Bay and the city centre, making it easy to explore the main attractions. The suites were modern, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with a full kitchen, which made the stay feel very comfortable and home-like. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a great touch, offering a wide range of options, and the evening social events created a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. Overall, I would highly recommend Staybridge Suites Cardiff for anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, and well-appointed stay.
