We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Park gate ideally positioned in the centre gives you many places to dine or drink. If there was one minus it was the hot food side of the breakfast.The plates were cold and the food in the tureens were left to become empty before refilling. The sausages seemed to have been cooked hours earlier, the rest was equally cold just not good enough for that standard of hotel.

Check in staff not up to standard , rooms are ok . None if our group ( I booked 7 rooms !) got the upgrade for VIP status for Platinum members , and overall the experience was mediocre . There is lot of room for improvement re staff .

It’s a beautiful hotel and have previously enjoyed my stay. This time I got provided an accessible room, which was changed on request as I am not a fan of a wet room bathroom. The second room was on the first floor overlooking the entrance to the stadium with no net curtain and little privacy unless the curtains were entirely shut. So I was disappointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and an excellent shower. Breakfast was broadly good with the exception of the scrambled eggs which were not hot, and there was no cheese out. It’s still much better than other hotels but for a hotel of this quality the little things were disappointing.

The Parkgate is the perfect place to get away from the world. The service is topnotch and the staff are always incredible and will always welcome you with a warm smile. The room service was aldo great and nothing was too much trouble. We had stayed in the Tower Suite and as always it was stunning, quiet and the perfect place to just quiet the mind. It has to be my most favorite room, not only because it's beautiful but it feels like a quiet secret getaway. Always a pleasure.
