Lovely hotel in the Derbyshire Dales

Pros: Loved the big bedroom and views of surrounding countryside, together with the attached Red Lion pub. Lovely big bathroom with heated floor.
Cons: The only thing we can think of is perhaps some signage to show the way through the hotel to the Red Lion for breakfast.
Location: The hotel is in the Derbyshire countryside and is perfect for visiting the surrounding areas.
Stayed for two nights whilst visiting family. Really lovely, modern and comfortable and clean hotel in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted! Big room with comfortable bed and pillows that were OK for us. Good size kettle with plenty of teas, coffee, milk and biscuits. Easy to use aircon to change room temperature if needed. Lots of hangers and storage space provided together with an iron and ironing board. Lovely big bathroom with heated floor, large shower 'wetroom' area (floor did get a little wet from splashing but shower mat provided). Plenty of toiletries and towels (Including face cloths which aren't always provided at hotels) The attached Red Lion pub is lovely too. We can only comment on breakfast, which was delicious, so would assume lunch and dinner to be equally as good! Nice selection of fruit juices and freshly made tea/coffee, together with fresh sliced fruit and yummy croissants. A good selection of hot food available which was very tasty and freshly cooked to order. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. All in all, a very pleasant stay here; would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
