I had a deeply disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend staying here. Upon checking into my room, I was shocked to find a serious cleanliness issue—something that should never happen in a properly maintained hotel. Additionally, the bathroom was not as clean as expected, but I initially assumed housekeeping would address it. However, even after room service came through, the issue remained, raising major concerns about the hotel's cleaning protocols. When I reported the situation, the response from staff was dismissive and lacked urgency. I was repeatedly transferred to voicemail with no real assistance, and despite multiple follow-ups, management failed to take the matter seriously. A manager who initially offered help never responded to my attempts to reach out. This entire experience has left me questioning the overall sanitation standards of this hotel. If such an obvious issue was overlooked, what other cleanliness concerns are going unnoticed? I urge future guests to consider this before booking, especially if cleanliness and responsive customer service are priorities. Do better, Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago River North.
