There was absolutely nothing wrong with the check in, or the staff. I love the westin lombard. I just know for next not to accept the room by the elevators. It was really loud, you could here everyone coming off and on the elevators. You can also hear the elevators running, it sounded like ghosts in the room. Other than that it was a great stay.

This was my first stay at The Westin and overall it was just ok. I was disappointed with the room, there was no clock, no hand towel bar or ring, and it was odd to place Kleenex over the toilet. Speaking of the toilet, it was really low and was more fitting for a child’s restroom. There were no luggage carts. The staff were not friendly. We were not greeted upon entry. No one offered to assist with our luggage, even though, it was visibly difficult managing without a luggage cart.

Even though at my time of arrival the hotel was affected by a power grid outage, the hotel staff did everything in their power to accommodate guest. Pretty awesome to see. The hotel room was, clean, quiet and the best they had after the outage. Awesome staff!
