The Falkland Arms is authentic and charming with low ceilings and beams, and you can feel the history in the walls. The room we had wasn't one of the smallest, but was large enough and had all the amenities we would expect. The staff were all very friendly too.

We have stayed in the Falkland Arms a number of times over the past 20 or so years and it never disappoints. It's our favourite getaway. Since we came 4 years ago there has been another refurbishment and the rooms are absolutely lovely. The staff are always helpful and with good food and drink and fabulous walking on your doorstep what more could you ask for. We'll be back.

What a a lovely place like stepping back in time' Relaxed atmosphere thankfully no television in bar. Very clean, food was tasty. Staff very polite and helpful.

Classic hotel

Pros: All good
Location: Great area to visit
Nice old pub, plenty of character. Excellent staff. Food and room very good. Great location. Recommend a stay.
