Sadly the pool and spa were not open. I was unaware of this when I booked and I was told it was somewhere on my online booking platform if I’d scrolled right down to the bottom. Room immaculate. Staff ALL excellent helpful welcoming and highly professional. The spa is being renovated but we knew this when we booked. Bar is well appointed and well staffed. This Hotel is a gem and the food in both restaurants (hotel and Jetty) is exceptional albeit a little pricey but that is life when you want quality.

Nice friendly hotel with beautiful seaside views from the terraces - would love to revisit in the summer when it’s warm enough to sit out to appreciate. Our cosy room had a view of the car park and although very well appointed, it was rather cramped but fine for a one night stay. Spa was closed for refurbishment. Breakfast room was rather dark due to covered terrace outside. We did enjoy the wide selection offered on the continental buffet, especially homemade banana bread and marmalade flapjack. Would recommend booking a sea view larger room for a more enjoyable stay.

We booked a night at this hotel with a spa. The hotel contacted Expedia to explain the spa was under renovations and out of use. Expedia did not give me the message. The sole reason for booking this hotel was because of the spa. Expedia failed in passing on the information. The hotel upgraded us and did everything they could to make the stay very enjoyable but Expedia let me down and I would like a refund from Expedia

Wonderful location and dining experience. The odd niggle including issue with elderly mothers room, requested walk in shower but on arrival given a room with bath. It was quickly sorted however. The room was fine for one night but the sash window was faulty and wouldn’t stay open. Overall highly recommended
