The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance.

Fabulous location overlooking the valley. Staff food and rooms are all great. A minor downside is lighting over the handbag in the bathroom where good light is needed for contact lens wearers; however this is common to almost all hotels nowadays
