It was nice but the room was unbearably hot. The window was the traditional push up, pull down kind but it wouldn’t stay up and kept sliding down again. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was tasty but our server was a bit hit and miss and kept forgetting to bring things - cutlery, toast, juice. Overall a pleasant stay but could do with a bit of attention.

Lovely hotel however its the only hotel ive been to where you couldnt order any food at lunchtime , not even a sandwich !after a drive from edinburgh in difficult weather conditions we chose not to stop and wait till arrival . If you required a drink you had to go and find someone every time . Yhe evening meal was lovely but not much choice . The couple of staff there did there best however wouldnt stay again
