I was very pleased with the reception we received as we checked in very late due to flight delay. We were very comfortable, all clean & fresh linen. Had a nice breakfast before we left.

Checked in around 21:00. No dramas, helpful staff. Payment for parking (discounted to £10 for hotel guests) made at a machine opposite. Plenty of parking available when we stayed, despite it not being a particularly large car park. Room was tiny for a family with the sofa bed out (smaller than a Premier Inn, for example), but we only stayed a few hours. Breakfast started at 04:00, so we were able to grab something, but it was very much just a croissant in a paper bag, so not ideal.

Once I Was In, It Was Fine!

My visit was soured at the start by a 15 minute wait to be checked in at reception, due to one member of staff operating the bar and check ins! After I was finally in my room, it was standard HI Express fare.

Very clean room, nice welcoming guy on arrival, breakfast ok restaurant meals a bit pricey and not top quality but it’s a budget hotel so it’s to be expected, only downside was the guy on booking out who literally couldn’t be bothered to even speak to us, but all in all we enjoyed our time at the hotel.

Great 1 night stop before holiday

As a mature adult it was an easy accessible hotel for an early airport flight. The added bonus was the early availability of breakfast. I didn't have a car but the bus stopped outside. I would use the hotel again should I get an early morning flight. All the staff I met were very helpful.

A good stay with some concerns.

This was a quick overnight before leaving from East Midlands early the next morning. The receptionist was very helpful and the VERY early morning breakfast was most welcome. Two things: the hard floors (not the carpets) had been cleaned with something sticky which made walking on them squeaky and unpleasant; secondly, although clean, the room smelt as if it needed a good clean.
