I actually really like the Radisson, it’s one of my favourite hotels, however this trip just wasn’t the best, there’s sticky stains in the wall, what looks like water damage and the room was freezing cold even with the heating turned on

Another enjoyable stay at a Radisson Blue Hotel.

Normal Radisson standard and appreciated the courtesy transport to the East Midlands Airport. Enjoyed the breakfast offering.

Disappointing!

The room looked lovely, and the bed was comfortable, However, it was a very cold night and the room took a long while to warm up. We could not get any cold water from the tap. There was a laminated sheet giving information for room service but no information on how to use various items in the room. The bedroom and bathroom had an adjoining wall, with windows and there was no separate light for the toilet. Therefore the bathroom lights disturbed the other persons sleep. Eventually, we rang reception for help with the tap. Michael answered, and calmly explained that the water in the bathroom was always warm and there was two 600 ml bottles of water in the fridge for all our needs. Luckily we had bought water with us. The warm water was not hot enough to shave. We have visitors at our home, in Castle Donington and have spent 4 nights in local hotels. We saved the Raddison for our last night, expecting it to be the best but sadly it wasn’t. We were told at checkout that it was a accessible room, which we had not requested.

Staff were lovely and really helpful. Main Beds very comfortable but sofa beds not comfortable. Food was hit and miss - We did better going into Castle Donnington to eat. Breakfast was ok though.

Great stay. Very impressed with the decor, gym and pool were great, lovely quiet room and comfy bed too. Breakfast was brilliant with plenty of vegan options including croissants and cakes. Would definitely stay again.
