Unfortunately the building smelt of weed on arrival. I was disturbed between 12am and 3am by people talking and laughing loudly for ages in the corridor near my room. Being on my own, I was not comfortable saying anything to them. I read there's security, but where were they when this was going on? I tried to put my tv on but it was glitching so couldn't watch anything. The room is a very good size with the facilities you need. Handy to have the restaurant within walking distance. Food was good. A bit disappointing really.

2nd good stay

Good value and a good location, handy for the motorway with nice pub next door. Very clean, the carpet in the room was nice, but I scored average for condition as there were quite a lot of scuffs on the walls in the room. This is our 2nd stay here and we were not disappointed and would stay again.

The room was perfect for our needs, close to the motorway and where we were going. The staff were very helpful too. We didn't eat there on our stay, but returned a few days later to collect my husbands hoody, left in the room, and had tea there which was lovely. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Always a good place to return but will point out that this morning breakfast was not the best as it looked like bacon had been microwaved but was cold and a bit anemic. This was a buffet as opposed to a cooked breakfast I received on previous occasions. Staff are very good and I will still return to this hotel. Hopefully this morning was a one off.
