5/5 Excellent
"Excellent, friendly service from all the staff.
The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port.
Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English.
The room was lovely and clean with views over the sea front (we paid extra for the sea view)
In the evening a gentle man was playing the piano in the bar which was pleasant while you had a drink or a bar snack.
The restaurant served a small but very nice menu each evening. "
"The Sefton had friendly and helpful staff. They helped to explain the area, and even made sure to let me know fairly quickly when I left something in my room after checkout.
The atrium was a pretty cool area to watch, and the breakfast was pretty nice standard English Breakfast. Although I got one of the smaller rooms, it may have been the biggest hotel room I've ever stayed in Europe, and definitely did not feel cramped.
It's worth noting the hotel was a little bit older/ dated then some other ones. But at the time of the review, there was some renovations that were under way. (As a note, that did make entry/ exit a little more confusing).
Overall, a good stay and would stay there again next time I'm in Douglas"
"It was well situated even though I over looked the car park only staying a couple of days it was ok but would request a sea view if staying longer. The Breakfast was worth the money and the dinning area was pleasant and the bar was also ok. would recommend the Hotel to friends. "
