First room smelled like the kitchen. Staff were nice enough to move us at least and provide money back for a smaller room. Essentially, you cant polish a turd with this place. It has potential to be nice but needs gutting and starting again.

Friendly hotel close to Durham

Freindly, clean and comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful. Room had a lovely modern ensuite but difficult to turn down heating as room hot at night. good choice of food at breakfast but limited range of vegetarian at evening meal.
