Decent hotel, our room was quite quirky which made it a little more interesting than the usual rectangle you get.

Location good for a business trip

No body wash in the room and was told they had none. The life saver was the bar staff who located a full shower radox gel bottle , the bar and restaurant staff were good and the food was good, the lady on reception was efficient and polite , having basics in the room was a must. The TV was not a smart TV but basic with poor signal for morning news TV. Always ask for the main building NEW rooms if you stay here , the out buildings are more like holiday chalets than hotel rooms. And very dated. The suoerior room beds were really big and comfortable

Close to Diss visiting family

Upon arrival pleasent receptionist, checked out room before visiting family, found only three pillows on bed, stain lamp shades on beside tables, rusted towel rail. Plus a chair that had so many scratches on it, it looks like a cat stroping post. Did ask for extra pillow but never turned up. Breakfast was disappointing for the price. Wife order the signature breakfast,they didnt have pama ham which was one of the ingredants and in total was quite bland! Up side my bacon,sausages,muchroom and fried egg was good but not worth £9.95 per head. If bookings through ebookers or simular then a cheap place to crash for the night but bearing mind they offer spa facilities there you would have thought the hotel side would complement this.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay and we are regular visitors however last visit we purchased 1 double room with 1 double bed and the "double bed". Consisted of 2 singles pushed together. Didn't mind but frustrating as the twin room price was cheaper
