This is the 2nd time we stayed in this hotel. We enjoyed it. But my children were disappointed as they weren't allow in the jacuzzi this time. Same as the restaurant they have changed the policy not letting the children eat in the conservatory area after 8pm. Anyway we had a fab meal in the restaurant.

Good location, easy access to other towns

Pros: All facilities good.
Cons: Decor needs updating, but not a major issue.
Location: Able to gain access easily to all major attractions
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great place to stay, breakfast good, nothing too much trouble for staff.

Nice swimming pool.

A very pleasant hotel.

Pros: Room facilities and super comfy bed.
Cons: The over bath shower area and shower head would benefit from a deep clean.

Having never stayed at this hotel we didn't quite know what to expect. But what a terrific hotel. We were using it as a base to attend a local event so did not have the opprtunity to use the spa facilities but the indoor pool looked very inviting. Our room was of a decent size with a comfortable sofa set against one wall with a table opposite.A large flat screen tv was on the wall opposite the large double bed.There were tea and coffee (Nespresso type pods) making facilities. The fridge contained a small bottle of real milk - not UHT. Robes and slippers were provided as was an iron, ironing board and a trouser press. Nice touches that make all the difference. Superb power shower in the bathroom (if I had to be suoer crtitical, the shower head could do with a good clean!). The bed was a good size and was, quite frankly, the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in an any hotel. If this is the typical standard of Twaites hotels, I will definitely seek them out on my travels. That said, it appears at the moment they only have 6 hotels spread around the UK.

Lovely hotel with great Spa facilities

Myself and my husband stay there for our anniversary. The room was huge, breakfast was delicious and the spa facilities was perfect! Highly recommend and will stay there again.

Lovely Mother Daughter Night Away

We had a lovely time at the hotel and were greeted with warmth and professionalism at the front desk. We had upgraded our room to a suite which was very cosy and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Two little things, but not a problem at all were that there was no red wine included in the minibar but I do believe we could have called down for this and also there were no dressing gowns in our room but this was easily rectified by talking to housekeeping. The hotel could do with a little updating but on the whole we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and the breakfast was amazing!

Poor standard

Check in was painfully slow with a queue and only one receptionist checking people in. The room was very average. Breakfast was absolutely disgraceful - the good option was inedible and after complaining nothing was done and no fresh food offered. Quite disgusting. Staff at breakfast look and spoke as though everything was too much trouble. I will not be revisiting !

A VERY PLEASANT STAY

We stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. Do not be put off by the hotel being located on a business park, not by its slightly severe appearance from outside. Inside is just wonderful - from the warm and welcoming reception area, to the fantastic staff - and everything in between. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and the beds very comfortable. The swimming pool and spa areas looked great (we didn't have time to use), and the food was good too. Over
