The motel was great, the amenities were amazing and the service was fantastic. I would defiantly recommend The diner however was not so great. The food was very good but the service was shocking. We had to wait a while to get seated for dinner, then we had to wait to get are drinks and food order taken. Then after we ordered we had to wait ages for our drinks even though we could see that they were left up on the side. Then after getting our drinks, my partner was given a 'free birthday ice cream' before we had our mains! then after this we were given the bill!! I told the waitress that we had not even eaten yet which she then replied that we were third in the queue so it won't be long. Another 30 minutes went past, we had both finished are drinks and were still waiting for our food. Someone finally came back over to us (I think a manager) asking if we had eaten and we replied no. They then went and bought us our food 5 minutes later - luckily she told us that we did not have to pay. The food is very good but the service is just something else - I understand that it was busy and maybe understaffed but being bought out a dessert and then the bill before the main is just crazy. The next morning we went back for breakfast and the service was a bit better but we were still waiting for ages for our drinks and food. Again, we had already finished are drinks long before we got our food and the people who were seated just before us had eaten and left before we had even got our food.

Lovely hotel, beautifully clean and staff couldn’t do enough to help us throughout our stay. The neighbouring Mollies Diner was fabulous too - would recommend staying and eating here.

The hotel was warm, comfortable and cleaned everyday. The staff were friendly and approachable and very happy to help with any issues. One of the rooms I stayed in could possibly do with a repaint in the future, but for the cost and the experience I have no complaints and only praise.

The staff here were lovely. When we had a slight issue with the tap plumbing in the room they immediately tried to resolve the issue but as we were only staying one night it wasn’t much of a problem and did offer compensation. Lovely rooms and very comfy beds. Good amenities in the room and nice general store for drinks and snacks.

Lovely modern quirky Motel

A lovely experience in a modern, quirky motel with some great touches such as GHD straighteners & hairdryers in the rooms and boiling water on tap in the corridors to save the need for kettles in the rooms too.

Stylish but impractical.

Very friendly and stylish, good location and very quiet, nice touches such as free filter coffee. Room was on the small side with no space to put out toiletaries (nowhere even for toothbrush) and very little space for clothes. There is good quality tea and coffee provided but you have to go along the corrider for boilng water tap as no kettle is provided.

A motel with a difference - modern, well thought through and designed with flair. A Dyson hairdryer to boot!!! Friendly staff, cosy, welcoming lobby with a bar and the diner was equally so. Good food, very reasonable prices and definitely a place to recommend!!
