room away from road needed

Cons: new mattress
room faced road at ground level and was very noisy with rush hour traffic morning & evening. Bed was uncomfortable. the back of hotel faced out on countryside and would have offered a better experience I'm sure.

excellent last minute experience.

The hotel was excellent from start to finish. Obviously popular with locals as the bar and restaurant were packed both at dinner and breakfast. The room was fantastic, very spacious with a brilliant view. The staff were friendly, happy and extremely helpful. This is especially true if the restaurant manager and the waitress we had!

simple, reasonable price, well kept

not a lot to say beyond the title. didn't eat the food so can't comment but lot of people in enjoying restaurant. I would stay again

Last minute

Great hotel, lovely facilities and atmosphere on the deck overlooking the river. Room very comfortable, but no air con. As we were by the road we either had to be hot and have a quiet night or open windows and have road noise.....
