The front desk staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We stayed on the 4th floor, in a loft room. The ac unit near the entrance door leaked so the carpet was damp. The carpet, where it met the linoleum was frayed and ripped. The floor of the tub was cracked and felt spongy when standing on it. We did not dare use the hot tub. We took the elevator because the some of the steps were crumbly and seemed unsafe. Breakfast was adequate. I felt it was loud at night, though my husband said he heard nothing. There was only a loveseat to sit on, nothing else. It was very near the action, easy walk to everything. We only stayed 2 nights so did not complain as we were really only there to sleep. Bed was fine but we did not like the pillows at all. They were flat, no support at all. I think with updates, it would be a good place to stay.

Our expectations were exceeded from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. It was refreshing to stay where it was clean and friendly. Our room was spacious and always smelled nice and clean. I slept amazingly well on the king sized bed. The sheets were clean and unstained. The fridge was cold when we arrived so it was ready for us to put in any food or drinks. The temperature of the room was very good. It was easy to adjust as needs warranted. It was a very pleasant surprise to see so many outlets and USB power ports. The wifi was secure, easy to connect and fast. The bathroom was roomy with plenty of towels, hand towels and wash cloths, all were clean and unstained. The shower was awesome, plenty of hot water and pressure. On day 2, housekeeping came by to see if we needed any fresh linens. The 3rd day the bed was made up with fresh sheets and the room cleaned. There is a guest laundry facility as well as a Fitness Room. The elevator worked very well. Breakfast was good. Hot biscuits, eggs, sausage and sausage gravy. The front desk clerks were great! They were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived I wanted information about the trolleys and the different lines. She showed me how to get the app for my phone so I could actually see when the next trolley would arrive and where they would be stopping along the way. This was our first visit to Gatlinburg. We will definitely return and stay at this location.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Lady at the front desk was able to accommodate us and change rooms. Everything was good. Room was clean but smelled like old carpet. Breakfast was ok. Definitely appreciate helpfulness of all staff there. Really appreciated a call confirming stay prior to arrival.

We enjoyed our stay and it was kid friendly. Walkable to all the dining and shopping options close by. Kids enjoyed time at the pool after a long day of walking. Parking was a bit tight but we were able to get a parking spot every day.

Overall the stay was okay. The ceiling of our room does have some issues of stains and also the paint was peeling off too. The ac did give off a bit of a musty smell which was a bit annoying and the toilet was outdated. The bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the service of changing our sheets and replacing the trash bags daily.

Check in was a breeze…the room was spacious and clean, and they even cleaned our room while we were out, which is something a lot of hotels aren’t doing anymore…had a good variety for breakfast and staff was very nice…we even saw a bear wandering the send floor balcony…I’d stay here again

A Beaty good stay

Even though this hotel is a bit dated, it's always a great place to stay. Daily wildlife visits were a plus. Easily walking distance to the main entertainment area.

Stay was good. Nice room comfortable bed. Small bathroom and jets on jetted tub not great. Clean room daily but would not leave more toiletries had to get from office. Convenient location will stay again.
