My stay at GreenTree Inn Flagstaff was okay overall. The location was decent—convenient enough for getting around, but not the most ideal part of town. The property itself felt a bit rundown and could definitely use some updating or maintenance, but it was manageable for a short stay. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy, which helped make the experience more positive. If you’re looking for something budget-friendly and don’t mind a place that’s a little worn, it can work for a quick stopover.

The room was nice. Walking around on the laminate flooring made feet filthy which means floors are dirty or cleaned with a product that doesn't clean very well. Check in went well. The breakfast is pathetic. Carbs, carbs, carbs. You can ask for a breakfast burrito or breakfast bagel, but the eggs in them are disgusting. They ask you if you want bacon or sausage and if you request bacon, you won't even taste it in the burrito and the bagel has a tiny amount of egg on it with one tiny sliver of microwaved bacon split in half. Your other options are waffle, plain bread for toast, plain bagel, yoplait yogurt, cereal. That's it. No danishes, muffins, etc. Then you have to chase down someone at the front desk to refill the milk or to ask for your burrito or bagel. They often are not at the front desk but sitting and chatting in the office. The breakfast area is very small and people often have to either take their breakfast to go or find a seat in the lobby because all tables are taken. The room was good, but most interaction with the front desk was not the greatest. Oh, and I was there for two nights and they only activated my key card for one night so I had to go back and get it activated on the second day. I don't think this place is a do over. I've stayed at the Sleep Inn next door and it was better.

Checkin was easy and with nice people. Ice machine was broke so we were told to bring our trash bag to the front desk and they would fill it up with ice. The TV remote didn't work so we only got one channel (not an option on the TV itself to change the channel or volume). No hot water. We were told to turn the shower on and let it run for 10 mins and we should get hot water and after about 10 mins we did.

The smoke detector in the room was missing and not replaced for our entire 9 day stay. We informed them immediately upon arrival that it was missing. We asked for room service on day 4 and followed up every day and did not receive it until day 7. The breakfast was the exact same thing every day and they were out of many things regularly. Very loud starting about 8:00 a.m. My wife said 2 stars I said one star (so I put 2). Overall not a safe or great place to stay. I would take your chances elsewhere.

Nice staff. It is walking distance from shopping and dinning. The bed was over all comfortable. the pillows were awful very flat. The breakfast was simple and good. I would stay again.
