A beautiful place and looks beautiful on arrival. Staff very friendly. We booked on line but was given very little information on the booking document on how to get to our room until we made the phone call. there was hairs on the shower tray which was not very nice to find. The bed was out dated, too soft to sleep on and it sleeky. Only one pillow. My partner had the spare pillow in the wardrobe. There was no information about breakfast that is was continual etc.... Hope to return again in the future.

Lovely little hotel. Staff very welcoming.

Pros: Friendly hospitable staff.

Lovely hotel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good with lots of variety (cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, cooked breakfast). Room was very clean and spacious as was the bathroom. We ate in the restaurant twice in the evening. The food was delicious on both occasions and the staff again were welcoming and friendly.

Family weekend visit

We have enjoyed another visit to Boxmoor Lodge. Our dinner on the first night was delicious, all freshly prepared and of excellent quality. The staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful and we would have no hesitation about staying at the hotel again.
