We had a great stay — excellent customer service, lovely facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere with birds around the houses. Our six‑sleeper house was good value, and the location made it easy to explore Cornwall and Bideford. The leisure centre was reasonably priced, and the staff were fantastic throughout. I’m giving 4 stars only because the TVs needed a share code for YouTube (and the bedroom TV didn’t support it), and the lounge sofa was a bit worn. Otherwise, a very good stay.

Really nice clean comfortable room, good large en-suite too, did have a problem with the shower but all was sorted. Friendly staff on check in and during my stay. Good WiFi and amenities with microwave, toaster, kettle etc. very comfortable stay.

Property was well equipped and clean, beds were really comfortable. The pool, sauna, showers etc were all clean and everything including the outside area's were well kept. It was lovely and quiet, we really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.

Restaurant and Bar not open, this was our anniversary but had to do own cooking, site said no cancellations as it was on website, couldn’t see anything on Hotels.com so will challenge this, also so bloody dark and the map to house wasn’t great, maybe light up signs and review lighting levels for walking at night

Very nice rooms, plenty of space. Large fridge, microwave plates and cutlery. Warm bathroom with plenty of space. They do not have a bar or restaurant. Farm shop close by that has a nice cafe.

We stayed in the Lodge, it was AMAZING. we booked on a really short notice and the staff was able to decorate the lodge for my husband’s birthday as well. Staff is really polite and helpful. The lodge was very clean. We loved our stay, we even extended our stay.

I needed a two night break to surf, see friends and get some space to recharge my batteries. The staff were most friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect and very clean, double bedroom with bathroom and towels, with a living room and small self catering kitchen. It was perfect for what I needed. I didn't actually use the other facilities but they looked nice. I thoroughly recommend this resort. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Beautiful place in peaceful location. Nice view from our apartment overlooking the courtyard & mill pump, which we walked past on the way to the leisure centre & lake. Enjoyed a swim & sauna to top it off. Some areas could do with an update (& deep clean) but areas like the sauna had been updated (balconies on the todo list apparently, as we couldn't use). There's wasn't a restaurant or bar but a daily food van and Sun eve entertainment. But we were happy with our experience - Staff all very friendly and helpful. My mum loved her birthday getaway. Would return!

Clean room, very friendly receptionist. However, very little facilities, no proper bar, restaurant or eating establishment on site, when asked for additional tea / coffee was told these were chargeable extras! No room service and if you check out after 10am there is £10 charge for every hour. Certainly won’t be returning.
