Good view

Pros: Convenience and free parking and WiFi
Location: Close to M6 and the Lake District
Ideal for a one night stay and lovely view of the lake. Friendly staff and desk manned to assist. Free parking and WiFi. Comfortable room with shop and dining facilities nearby.

Outstanding view.

Pros: The staff could not have been more helpful. I needed oxygen delivered & they went out of there way to make sure it all went smoothly.
Cons: The room really needs a freshen up. The cleaners could have done a better job.
Location: Boat trips on the lakes. Steam train rides. Sizergh, an amazing house & garden, but be aware, lots of steps in house. Nat Trust with great food.
We, my husband & I, stayed the whole week, for some sightseeing around the lake district & also to revisit Hawes, where we used to live. Called in to the cheese factory there for some WensleyDale cheese to bring home. Found lots of places to visit, including Chester Zoo, although that was a long haul in the car, at least 2 & a half hours away from the Inn.

Nice location and staff sham about the room

Really nice location and view over the lake was really good. Staff were helpful. The thing letting this place down is that it needs updating and the bed definitely needs improving as very soft

Lovely view and good location to travel to multiple areas

We enjoyed that the hotel was in a good location and was dog friendly. We had lovely weather and as such had an amazing time but note there are very few things to do in the area if it does rain. The hotel room was pretty unclean when we got there which was a little disappointing but because we had cleaning things with us a short tidy up was all that was needed. Overall we were glad we had a lovely holiday with our puppy!

Good Value for Money

Basic accomodation though perfect for a one night stopover. Room was very comfortable although slightly dated. Very helpful receptionist who was able to direct us to the nearest town and recommended nearby restaurants. Nice view over Killington Lake.

Good over night

We have nothing to complain about accommodation and staff very good ,it's quiet no noise through night only downfall is location and very limited choice for food outlets .but ideal if you only wish to break journey overnight.

Nice view from the Window

Short stay, desk staff very friendly. Location ideal for the Lakes visit. View from bedroom window excellent, place was quiet and bed very comfortable.

Easter Stop-Over

Two rooms for grown up family. Clean and tidy. Staff were great. Very helpful. Location is okay for travelling south but as a base you're faced with a 5 mile trip south before next junction to than go back north, Location is great for bird watchers. the reservoir/lake is righ outside and the birdlife abundant! Great value, all told.
