Nice no frills hotel bedroom was good but bathroom needed cleaning and shower pressure was non existent. Really needs updating.

During our round trip in Northern England and Scotland we stayed two nights in Keswick. We made a walk to the beautiful Catbells as well as visited the Castlerigg Stone Circle. The hotel was mostly ok for our purpose. However the shower practically did not work. It gave water which was either very cold or burning hot. Our flat was Chiamara. The bedroom and living room were too far from each other and the doors between were inconvenient with door pumps. The bed was good. Kitchen and living room were good. It was nice to sit outside in good weather , as there were garden table groups.
