Chose to have our wedding here based on lobby and ballroom appearance - huge mistake. The majority of the staff are terrible and have no place in hospitality (unfortunate for the few good staff). The entire process was painful and they lied to us 3 weeks before our wedding that we could no longer use the room we had booked for our wedding due to “AC Repairs” and had to move it to a different space - only to see it being used in the morning for a separate event! We had already sent out the invites otherwise I would’ve asked for a refund and backed out in the early stages. I also punctured my toe on something in the carpet (assuming staple but didn’t stay to find out) the night before the wedding and they asked if I wanted a refund and a new room. I said yes to refund and moved to another room that I had already PAID for. Fast forward a few weeks and I follow up on refund - they refuse because they closed the incident report when they “found nothing wrong with the room” and because they asked my fiancée if I was “ok” and he said “yes!” (as in not mortally wounded). This seems like a normal occurrence based on other reviews. This is not hospitality, this is gaslighting. The rooms are outdated and toilets hardly work properly. Parking is also inconvenient. This hotel puts profits ahead of guests’ safety & comfort - stay away.

I'm from this town but never thought I would get a hotel here. (well since I live like over 2000 miles away now.) Used to be a pretty ratty place but looks like its been renovated. Nice restaurant area with buffet that we opted for the daily brunch. Rooms had comfy beds, still a bit dated but fairly clean and comfortable. This is directly in downtown which has changed alot from when I was a kid.

The carpet in our room was ripped and the shower had what looked like black mould and very dirty/calcuim buildnup on the shower heads. I asked for a safety pin or sewing kit because i had a wardrobe malfunction and they didnt have anything, even for sale. Id expect better attention to those details for the price point.

Good - Central to downtown. Bad - double charged me for parking - had to pay everytime I left parking garage and discovered an extra charge on my bill afterwards. Should have doublechecked my bill when checking out at 3AM. Bad - electrical plug issues. Could not plug devices in and get a good connection. Plugs kept falling out.
