We visited during a snowstorm that shut down downtown Knoxville, but we had everything we needed at the hotel - Starbucks, a great restaurant, and friendly staff.

The lobby was beautiful, but the room not so much. The bathroom was too small with no fan. There was a dirty sock on the floor when we checked in and the air-conditioning was leaking rainwater.

First, they charge a $75 per night deposit. Second, you have to go to the front desk every time you drive your vehicle to have them validate your parking or you’ll be charged additional fees on top of the parking charge. Third, only two elevators worked and the hotel was packed so people were waiting 10 plus minutes for an elevator. The location was great if going to the convention center. Onsite Starbucks was nice and the hotel restaurant food was pretty good. The hotel employees were friendly and were doing the best they could. No complaints on the staff.

This hotel smell so strongly of a horrible air freshener. If you have any chemical sensitivity beware. People in the lobby were coughing from it. We spoke to the front desk and they said they were aware of it and its part of the ventilation and they can't control it.
