Great for a beach vacation

Pros: Staff was always very friendly and accomodating
Cons: Sometimes some smell from the shower coming into room. Wi-Fi reception in our room very infrequent.
Location: Great to see Bophut Fisherman Village (15 minutes stroll). We totally enjoyed the movie night at the W resort.
Great resort with some minor flaws but lots of upsides. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Dear Sebastian, We would like to thank you for your comment. We are delighted to read that you appreciated our staff and your accommodation. In regards to the Wi-Fi we are currently discussing a possible upgrade of our current system. For the smell in the room we apologies for the miss-comfort it has caused you. We are looking forward to welcome you again. Sunny regards, The Management

Chilled out and friendly

Location is spot on, 8 minute walk to middle of fisherman's village for fab restaurants, no no bars and Friday market for all the rest food and Thai trinkets you will need! Detached villas set in lots of foliage, which but that brings lots of noisy insect life too, squirrels etc....not a problem as it adds to the atmosphere. Young laid back staff team.beachside location very good, good walks along a nice clean stretch of coast, easy swimming!Breakfast variety good, Thai noodles , or salads with smoked chicken and ham ,as well as all the usuals, pastries, western food....coffee is poor , that's the only criticism from me....good selection of cocktails and frequent happy hours

Beautiful grounds right on the beach

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. We were however very disappointed on our arrival that the hotel downgraded our room on the first night of our honeymoon even though we booked way in advance and had no prior notification. This is not what you want to be told after a very long flight!! However our booked room was lovely and had everything we needed and the hotel is right on the beach. The pool is nice but always quite busy but we never had a problem getting sun loungers. There are lots of families and children at the hotel. A pleasant walk to the fisherman's village it wasn't as far as I expected it to be. The massage ladies in the hotel were outstanding and really made our stay fantastic, much better than outside the hotel and hardly any difference in price. Overall a great stay, brilliant location and good facilities, just a shame about the start. The transfer service is also very efficient.

Hotel meet all our requirements

The hotel is a great location about 10 walk from Bophut fishermans wharf, which is a pedestian street with plenty of shops and restaurants. The guest cottages are all individual and set amongst foliage, so was always quiet and peaceful Try and book cottage with chairs on the verandah rather deck chairs - a nightmare to get out of. Breakfasts great.

Great trip

Hotel was in a great position. Restaurant & bar overlooking the beach. I had a terraced room in a new block, which was new modern and spacious and after seeing my mothers deluxe bungalow which was more expensive, I got the better deal. The bungalow had no storage space, no wardrobe or drawers. The breakfast in hotel was lovely, with a great choice. Evening meal although nice was very expensive. Everywhere was very clean and the staff were very polite and helpful .

Beautiful setting

This hotel is in a good location, right on the beach and near to restaurants/shops etc. We were upgraded from a Deluxe Bungalow to a Superior Terrace, we would have preferred the Bungalow which had a patio overseeing the gardens and due to the layout of the Terrace, we got quite a few mosquito's. The layout felt odd, at night when you lock your bedroom door you have to unlock to go to another room to use the bathroom. Drinks in the hotel are quite expensive so I would advise to go to the shop across the road for water/ice creams etc. The hotel was in a beautiful setting, lovely pool (but would be nicer if colder). Breakfast had a great variety and good standard (I would recommend the banana loaf). I would recommend this hotel for a relaxing beach/pool getaway.

Perfect getaway

This was my first visit to Thailand and Koh Samui and we chose The Peace Resort after reading the reviews. It is a wonderful hotel, in a wonderful location - right on the beach and within 10 mins walk of The Fisherman's Village for shops and restaurants. The hotel has amazing gardens - lush tropical plants and pretty bungalows. The hotel staff were attentive and polite and very helpful. Overall, an excellent hotel, in a beautiful location.

Great Location ... great staff .... great resort

Best location on Samui with Fishermans Village and excellent restaurants (on the beach) and bars a short walk away. Rooms, grounds and staff were great, however it could do with some more amenities (table tennis etc). Struggles to get people in the restaurant with its prices compared to the Village. Only issue was the cleanliness of the sea water with this slimy stuff floating around and on the bottom. Would recommend.
