The hotel was elegant and breathtaking. My daughter enjoyed the magical stairs. All the staff was kind and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. And it was nice to have either American buffet or Japanese breakfast as our options to start our day perfectly.

The Thousand Kyoto is an absolutely beautiful property that is only a few minutes walk from Kyoto Station and its surrounding vast of shops and restaurants. This is one of the most wonderful hotels I’ve ever stayed at, the service was top notch from arrival to departure. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to make their trip just that bit more special. Thank you for making my Kyoto trip very memorable!

The Thousand was an awesome and amazing experience. My only sadness during my stay was not being able to use the spa facility 😭😭. The hotel was excellent 👌, the bed was comfortable.....everything was great. I am definitely visiting the Thousand on my trip to Kyoto

A fabulous hotel newly refurbished. Very comfortable beds and rooms, superb service and very good quality food. Extremely convenient to Kyoto station (about 3-5 mins walk) dependent on your exit. Great gym and spa. Recommend allowing a little extra time for your breakfast as hotel is always full and consequently busy.

I had a wonderful stay at the thousand Kyoto. The staff were friendly and professional. The facilities were well kept and had well appointed amenities. The Thousand Hotel is excellent- the location next to the train station is very convenient. Rooms were very comfortable and roomy. Breakfast buffet was delicious and well varied food selection. The lobby was very attractive. I highly recommend the hotel.

My husband and I had a great stay here. It was our first time in Japan and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The super king room had a huge bed (could easily hold 4 people if needed), and a large bathroom area. The AC worked very well. The location was perfect for getting public transportation, and there were a 7-11 and restaurants within walking distance. A beautiful hotel also.
