The quaint fishing town of L'Ametlla de Mar offering a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants is a 5 minute drive away. L’Ametlla de Mar offers a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. An ideal location for a relaxing drink in the sunshine, or on a warm evening in one of the tapas bars, traditional fish restaurants, or international restaurants on the port, where you can watch the catch of the day being reeled in. There are many other fabulous harbour towns and mountain villages steeped in culture and tradition nearby. A little further a field you will find the historic cities of Reus, birthplace of Gaudi, and Tarragona with it’s beautiful Roman Amphitheatre. Then not forgetting the magnificent city, of Barcelona where the influence of Gaudi has made Barcelona one of the most impressive cities in the world. For a relaxing day out, the Ebro Delta nature reserve is within a 25minute drive and is truly stunning, it is world renowned for the rare species of wildlife and birds. The beaches are incredible, the sand dunes were used as the setting in the film 'Sahara' starring Penelope Cruz and several music videos. There are also lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views that will take your breath away.Golf: There are 4 golf courses within 30minutes drive of this area.
