Lovely house in a fabulous location! House was really clean, lots of space and a well-equipped kitchen. Thank you for the welcome basket, very lovely to sample local produce.The pool was warm and very welcome on hot days with shade from the large awning for meals and for those who needed it. Owner is lovely and available via messages for any questions. 10 mins walk to the Super U which was well-stocked and open til late. The bars and restaurants by the market were fun and good value for a beer, pizza or moules frites! 15 minute walk through the pines to the beach, stunning beach for walking or relaxing and worth a visit for a beautiful sunset. We did have a lot of mosquitoes during our visit, we purchased repellant spray and candles from the Super U but we found we couldn’t sit outside after dark and had to keep windows closed at night.

Peaceful relaxing stay

very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated throughout the property in a quiet location. Carefully thought of everyone's needs. On the description it clearly stated that there was a hot tub with a bath symbol, but there was not a bath or a hot tub at the property. Any issues were addressed by the owner very quickly. I do think the swimming pool needs monitoring twice a week, as 4 days into our stay a green film started appearing around the edges of the pool and steps. Apart from that we both thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property.

The perfect house.

The house was perfect for all any family could want - we suspected it would be special when we booked bit i5 turned out to be the perfect place for us. It was super clean, super stylish and super tasteful in decoration. Every one loved it.

La maison parfaite à Oléron

Nous avons passé une semaine fort agréable dans cette belle maison parfaitement équipée et spacieuse. Idéale pour 11 personnes, située à 10 minutes de la plage en vélo, la piscine et la terrasse sont très bien agencées et orientées plein sud. Notre hôte a été très disponible. Merci !! Nous allons revenir l'année prochaine.

Our favourite island

A lovely house, recently refurbished. Great location..Grand Village Plage is a favourite part of the island for us. Good sized pool and lovely terrace. We were expecting 3 wc as per the specs, but the 3rd was still being renovated and not available..a little disappointing with a house full of adults. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Lovely china, but wine glasses ready to be replaced with new ones, and no champagne glasses...we had to buy our own! In spite of the few criticisms, which are more down to personal taste and expectations, we would recommend this property as a great holiday rent in a fabulous location.

A wonderful Stay

We really loved this house. It is really private, our small dog had the garden to run around. The outdoor was lovely to sit in listening to the birds. The bedrooms have been refurbished and are really nicely decorated. The house is located on a quiet street. The beach is a 15 minute walk away. If you rent a bike there is bakery that is a 3 minute bike ride, a lovely restaurant in le petit village is 5-10 minute cycle, Le Chateau is a half an hour cycle and les Trojan is around 20 minutes. The centre of Le Grand Village is 10 minute walk from house with local restaurants and supermarket. As we only 2 adults we had lots of room in the house and the only complaint I would have is the living room area where there is a two seater couch. But this I think will change as the kitchen is to be refurbished this year which will create more space in this area.

Wonderful house on Ile d'Oléron

We had a wonderful two weeks stay at the house in beginning of June. The house is perfectly equipped and spacious. Thanks to Arlette, who is a very friendly and helpful host. Shopping facilities and the beach are in walking distance. The whole family enjoyed the stay very much.

ENDROIT CALME

MAISON ET ENVIRONNEMENT AGREABLE IL Y A UN bémol....le voisin proche gare sa voiture sur l emplacement prévu pour notre voiture devant le garage donc à l arrivée et au départ ....impossible de se garer à cet endroit et de rentrer notre remorque à l abri. Il a fallu la soulever, la tirer, la pousser sans toucher le muret et cela m a valu une super tendinite à l épaule ! La propriétaire m a recontacté un long moment après avoir pris connaissance de mon message et le voisin n a enlevé son véhicule que 24 h après (il était parti à la Rochelle!) Pour notre départ ...même situation !!! il laisse sa voiture et s en va .....nous avons du resoulever notre lourde remorque, pousser , tirer et redouleur sur mon épaule !!! sinon....nous ne pouvions pas récupérer notre remorque et retourner chez nous. Cela a gâché terriblement le séjour avec nos petits enfants je ne recommanderai pas ce gîte à cause de ce voisin

Très spacieuse et agréable villa

Plage proche et accessible en vélo, énormément de piste cyclables permettant de se déplacer sur toute l'île. Énormément de petit marchés, et les magasins et restaurants de grand village permettent de trouver tout ce dont on a eu besoin. Vacances nature, que du bonheur. Petit bémol... présence de nombreux moustique le soir, à partir du couché du soleil

Sehr schönes, gut aufgeteiltes Ferienhaus

Wir waren mit drei Familien in dem Haus. Es ist gut aufgeteilt, so dass jede Familie seinen eigenen Bereich hat. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der Garten mit Pool ist großartig. Es liegt sehr ruhig, ein Auto ist aber erforderlich.

Très jolie villa !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa très bien agencée pour nos 2 familles (10 personnes en tout). La propriétaire avait prévu un petit panier de produits locaux à notre attention et nous avons été accueillis par un petit hérisson trop mignon qui avait élu domicile dans le jardin ! Les enfants ont adoré ! Très jolie déco, avec tout le confort en terme d'électroménager. Commerces à proximité ainsi que les locations de vélo. Propriétaire très réactive et agréable. Je recommande !

Un endroit très agréable

Nous avons passé les fêtes de Noël en famille dans cette super maison , très accueillante et décorée pour la circonstance. La maison est très agréable à vivre . Elle est très bien équipée ce qui nous a permis de préparer pour toute notre tribu des festins ! Il faut aussi noter la gentillesse des propriétaires. C’est une très belle prestation que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Des vacances parfaites

Nous avons passés formidable vacances dans cette jolie maison, qui est très propre et meublée avec goût et comfort. La piscine était très agréable, le jardin aussi était très jolie et les enfants et nous adultes ont y souvent joués. La propriétaire s'est très bien et gentille occupée de tout. L'île est très belle, la maison est idéalement située, nous avons fait de nombreuses balades á vélo, visités les marchés, allés manger et cetera . La plage á Grand village plage est la plus belle et la forêt ici est parfait pour faire des promenades ou du sport. Alors Il faut revenir, absolument!,
