Banyan review Stayed 7 days Monday to Monday. Checked in Monday. Lukewarm reception from front desk. Not much of a welcoming aloha feeling from any staff members. Unit was clean but outdated. Shower curtain did not reach bottom of pan so whenever we showered, water would just spill out and flood the bathroom floor. Bathroom fan is noisier than a crying baby. Insulation is bad. We can hear every footstep from the unit above and every flush of the toilet. Their housekeeping schedule to service our unit was scheduled for Saturday. I requested an earlier date ( like Wednesday, Thursday or Friday ). The staff told me the schedule is computer generated so they couldn’t make any changes for me. In other words “ too bad, we’re not here to accommodate the guest request, it is what it is, deal with it” attitude. Anyway, housekeeping finally showed up Saturday afternoon and the room attendant did an excellent job. Kudos to her. So now they refreshed our unit after having stayed 5 days when we’re about to check out in 2 days. Not an ideal cleaning schedule in my opinion. Location was excellent. Swimming pool sits atop the hill with great view of area. Gets windy and leaves get blown into pool. Not heated as advertised. Close to everything we wanted to do or see. Walking distance to beach, short driving distances to Costco, malls, farmers markets, and other attractions. Mandatory daily resort fee seems unreasonable for the (lack) of services offered to us.

Room was great for 2 couples ... staff was very accommodating. We had a kitchen, living room, air conditioning and fans as well as washer and dryer. Lots of parking, we used the pickleball equipment and court lots as well as the pool. We also saw ships coming into port across the street. Building E is a bit noisy with traffic.

I always stay at this resort when I come to Lihue for work. The rooms are pleasant and well equipped, there is a washer-dryer, and the place is within walking distance to a beautiful beach, shops, and restaurants.

Clean, spacious, and well-equipped 2-bed 2-bath condo, with THREE lanai! Very quiet neighbors, too. Parking was conveniently close. Great pool location, perched as a lookout over the bay with great views. Would stay there again!

The location was very convenient. We got into Lihue in the evening, so being so close to the airport was really great. We also had to head to Kekaha on the west side of the island, so there was also easy access to the main road going in the opposite direction. The sunrise from our room was outstanding. Rooms were spacious. The only thing that was a little out of sorts was having to reset the knob timer every six hours to keep the A/C on, as it was set to turn off in the middle of the night if we didn't set it accordingly.

The floors were dirty, and the front desk staff were not friendly. The a/c needs to be turned on every hr using a knob. After a 4-night stay, no one came to pick up the garbage, despite my request to the front desk for a location to dispose of it. They said to leave the garbage by the door, and it was still there when we left eight nights later. The pool was cloudy and dirty.

The bed was NOT comfortable! The tv would Not work,...we had to finally just leave it running. The bedroom tv would not work! The little soap bars were useless! The water could of been hotter. The stairs were ridiculous! Tje dead bolt on Front Door needs worked on.
